I'M FINALLY DONE WITH FINALS! I started my finals a week ago from today & finished my last one @ 3pm today. I had Food Safety & Public Heath last Friday, which we all thought would've been a take-home since almost all our quizzes were as well as our midterm, but it was in class & NOT open book/notes! The majority of my class kept their "A's" anyways because she made us a study guide that was quite reflective of the exam questions. I think a majority of us are still wondering why she gave us an in class closed book/note final considering she said that it is of no beneficial to make students stress and worry about an exam instead of focusing on gaining the most knowledge possible...oh well! Monday was dermatology, which was the last of the 3 part clinical animal medicine course...I highly suggest buying Small Animal dermatology Secrets by Dr. Karen Campbell for this section of the course...it was not so bad. Next day came pharmacology, which I think for me was my best pharm test yet but unfortunately my grade couldn't go up no matter how well I did. Wednesday was special path, which one might as well go to Las Vegas and gamble since his exams are basically like gambling...but unfortunately no $ is involved. Thursday was my virology final & this was my best chance to move up a grade but unfortunately I just missed it. I think what did me in was the short answer section because there were a few things I just didn't remember her talking about. Her exams & quizzes are quite difficult because there are like 25-30 true/false, 5-15 multiple choice, and 5-10 short answer questions. My last final on Friday was Clinical Pathology & I could only miss 6 questions to keep my grade...I did great! Every semester I'm liking better then the previous...now comes surgery!
